Medix Radiology Services is an extremely valuable tool to add to your practice.  Each film that is sent to Medix is read by a board certified medical Radiologist to assess spinal pathologies.  Imagine the peace of mind knowing that your evaluations of the x-rays are supported by the Radiologist’s report.  Medix Radiology also creates a report that objectively analyzes the biomechanical improprieties of the spine and provides AMA impairment ratings. 

Reports – Medix generates two different reports for each set of film.  First of all is the Pathology report.  A board certified medical Radiologist will read your X-rays to assess spinal pathologies, which will reduce your liability. The second report is a Biomechanical Report.  Our Medix on staff Doctor uses our digitized system to create the biomechanical report with less than a 2% error rate compared to the typical 26% error rate when done manually.

Relationships - Medix also creates inter-professional relationships with attorneys, insurance companies and other doctors.  Attorneys are always impressed with the objective findings and measurements that include AMA impairment ratings.  Due to Medix reports, attorneys find settlements are generally higher and the likelihood of being compensated for future meds is greater. 

Residual Income – Medix cost the doctor nothing.  In fact, Medix absorbs the cost of labor that includes the billing and collections of the cost for Medix.  Ask your IPS consultant how to create a residual income using Medix.  Each individual set of films can generate up to $190 while using certain consulting codes that Medix gives the doctor.

Report of Findings - Patients love the professional objective report of findings.  Doctors who use the biomechanical report as their report of findings find that patient compliance is greater and retention rates improve.  The doctor can demonstrate through the report any biomechanical improperties of the spine in a clear and concise manner that is easy for the patient to understand.
